Clinical Director & Owner

Although I specialize in therapy for adults suffering from past traumatic experiences, anxiety, depression, and low self-worth, I have extensive experience treating a wide array of populations and issues.

My clients benefit from my services for diverse problems, including depression and anxiety, PTSD, medical issues, relational issues, and separation/divorce. I draw from a variety of disciplines and modalities, including EMDR, CBT, DBT, Mind-Body Bridging, family and group therapy. Additionally, I utilize attachment and mentalization-based psychodynamic psychotherapy to create an empathic environment where individuals can safely explore and address longstanding difficulties.

My specific approach is forward-looking, focusing on your goals and desires rather than dwelling on past issues and hurdles. This approach can be particularly helpful for couples, allowing you to build a brighter future together.

I am trained in trauma therapy and utilize treatments such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) for children and adolescents and Prolonged Exposure Therapy for adults, helping individuals confront and overcome their fears in response to traumatic events.

Therapist

I come to Mandala Healing Journeys with a diverse history of experiences. From teens to adults, substance use to mental health, and from families to individuals, I’ve been fortunate to work with people from all types of backgrounds and meet them where they’re at. I have a deep passion and respect for processes. Being part of someone’s change process is truly sacred and I feel honored to join them on that journey. My background incorporates a multitude of approaches, including Trauma Informed Therapy, Mind-Body-Bridging, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Attachment Theory, and Feminist Perspective. After graduating from the University of Utah, I’m also armed with the clinical information to pair with my past lived experiences.

Mindfulness, Somatic Wisdom & Integrative Therapy

Our therapists draw on mindfulness and self-compassion to cultivate resilience and inner peace, EMDR to alleviate the distress of traumatic memories, and CBT and DBT to shift negative thought patterns. Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) is not currently offered.

Connection as a Pathway

We emphasize connection — both to oneself and to others — as the way to transcend limitations and reach deeper self-awareness.

Community & Workshops

Workshops and community gatherings create space for group healing, fostering connection and support among participants.

How we measure progress

Feedback Informed Treatment

Feedback-Informed Treatment (FIT) is an evidence-based approach we use to ensure therapy is effective, collaborative, and centered on each client’s unique experience. FIT is built on the belief that therapy works best when clients and therapists work together through open, ongoing communication about what is helpful and what could be improved.

Rather than waiting until the end of therapy to measure progress, we check in regularly throughout the process. Using two brief tools — the Outcome Rating Scale (ORS) and the Session Rating Scale (SRS) — we invite clients to share their feedback at each session. The ORS helps us understand how clients are feeling and whether they’re noticing positive changes in their overall well-being. The SRS focuses on how the session itself went, including whether clients feel understood, respected, and supported.
